I took this picture last winter. It reminds me of Christmas time and gets me excited for the holidays. I can't wait!!! I hope it snows again.

fill flash.
Today, for the first time, I used a fill flash. It was more complicated than I thought it would be. I took my friend sarah into the woods to shoot. I finally got the hang of it. Lindsay Leet helped me a lot. I plan on shooting a whole lot more with using a fill flash.. I just need to buy one. The picture here is taken by Brian Hall. I think it's a good example of using a fill flash.
Moving on.
I have moved to wordpress with this blog. I will be using that one from now on.

I believe I took this photo 2 quarters ago. It almost made it in my final four for my color theory class. I really like it, so I decided to edit it a little more. Ta DA!

atlanta.

Lindsay and I went shooting in Atlanta today for a photojournalism assignment. I got this shot that I kinda liked. Mostly because of the odd sticker.
ready, set, go.
We've been working on the Holiday Portrait set and it's looking pretty good. Today we wrapped presents and decorated some, put ornaments on the trees, and it's all coming together pretty well. Check out mine and Danielle's box's, and Lindsay creating her's.to write with light.
The word photography came from the Greek words meaning "to write with light". I found this how-to article teaching about different kinds of light and how to use it to create a good photograph. Here is the link: http://www.betterphoto.com/article.asp?ID=48
